Our library boasts over 650 games and counting! Whether it is classics like Monopoly, grand strategy like Twilight Imperium, or role playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons, you are sure to find something for players of all ages and experience level. We get it, hosting game nights and learning new games can be… a lot. We believe that there is a game out there for anyone to enjoy and want to help you find what game to play next. Our staff are ready and able to help guide you towards a game that’s sure to excite and entertain.
Hexagon Alley has a board game library of over 550+ games, tasty snacks, and a full bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic sections.
Our “Game Gurus” and team are familiar with a vast majority of the library and are always available to suggest a game, explain rules, help with set-up, and assist you throughout your game.
ABSOLUTELY! Our shareables and paninis are all designed to cater to all dietary preferences. Because our guests come to Hexagon Alley for the boardgames, one of our main priorities is to offer a menu that is diverse enough to please a crowd.
Great question! We do not allow outside food at Hexagon Alley simply because we are very cautious about food getting on the games.
We also do not permit outside drinks simply because we allow guests under the age of 21 to enter and play. As a result, we need to provide and serve all beverages to ensure there are no instances of underage drinking.
There is a $5.00 game play fee per person to access our 300+ game library. The fee helps cover the cost of games, including replacing lost pieces and purchasing new games.
The game play fee grants you access to play as many games as you want and you’re also welcome to stay as long as you want. If you’d like to just sit at our bar with a beer, cocktail, mocktail, or latte then there’s no charge.
Game play fees for children under 12 years of age are WAIVED, with the purchase of at least one adult entry.
We are located Downtown Columbia, which brings its parking garages. Luckily, there are two parking garages within walking distance. One at 8th and Cherry Street, and the other at 10th and Cherry Street.

Not at all, in fact we pride ourselves in being a place for family and anyone in our community. We only ID guests who wish to order an alcoholic beverage. We encourage families and friends of all ages to visit us. High chairs and a kids game library are available.
Fear not lone wolf, we’ve got a variety of single-player games and would love to teach you how to play them! Or feel free to come in and sit at our bar and hang out. We have regular events, from casual meetups to card tournaments to help learn new games and meet new people!
Yes! Every weekday from 4pm-6pm. This includes $1 off draft beer, cocktails, wine, and appetizers.
