We offer structured learning based on a board game curriculum and peer socialization through games, Legos, crafts, and much more. We go outside to stretch our legs once a day, you'll find us at Peace Park down the street! Summer Camp is a fun and engaging way for your kid to spend Summer Vacation!
Lunch is provided for full day and morning half days. A morning and afternoon snack are also provided, and additional snacks are encouraged
Camp runs from 8:30 am to 4 pm for kids ages 5+ with half-day, early drop-off, and late pickup options
Just like our School Year Day camps, one or multiple-day enrollment is available.
Half days have the option of the Morning session from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm or the Afternoon session from 12 pm to 4 pm
Early drop-off runs from 7:45 am to 8:30 am
Late pickup runs from 4 pm to 6 pm

Hexagon Alley is proud to offer Day Camp for children K-8. These Day Camps occur on days when schools are closed due to teacher workdays, breaks, or snow days!
Hexagon Alley Kids Day Camp is a program for children (K-8th grade). Home-schooled children are always welcome, too! During the day, participating students will learn new board games, go through create-your-own boardgame lessons, and explore their creative side through gaming.
Designed with working parents in mind, Hexagon Alley Day Camp provides a one or multiple-day solution to the scheduling conflict caused by when schools are not in session. Hexagon Alley Day Camp offers parents a safe enviorment where children can learn, socialize, and bond through board and card games.
Camp runs from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm with the opportunity to drop your student off earlier starting at 7:30 am, and picking them up by 6:00pm
On Early Release days we will run from 12:00pm to 4:00pm

Mornings are ideal for exploring and learning new games in a relaxed and supportive environment. All campers participate in Open Play, where they pick from a curated selection of age-appropriate games. Our staff shares a variety of mechanics and games that require different skill sets. We teach strategic approaches for game success while encouraging good sportsmanship among players. A snack is provided in the morning.
Lunch is included for full-day campers. We make our campers' lunch on-site in our cafe.
If your child has a dietary restriction, please send lunch as we do not have the capability to offer an alternative.
** Please do not send anything that contains nuts, as there may be children with serious nut allergies. If your child has dietary restrictions that we should know about, please be sure to tell us. **
If your child has an allergy or travels with an EpiPen, you must alert staff at drop-off and provide explicit written instruction on your child’s waiver.
Campers joining us for the full day have the opportunity to go to the park for some exercise and play outside. We will be traveling to Peace Park and/or The Quad at Mizzou.
Afternoons build on the skills explored earlier in the day, and allow campers to focus more deeply on their choice of mechanics and specific areas of interest. Campers have the opportunity to sign up for an activity of their choice. Available options may include Magic: The Gathering, Role-Playing Games, and Board Games. Tournament-style play will be offered for any group that wants to engage at a deeper level.
Tabletop Role-Playing Games are narrative systems and encourage cooperation, decision-making, and creative thinking. Popular systems for campers include Dungeons and Dragons, Cypher System, Star Wars Roleplaying Game, and various independent RPGs. Students choosing to play Dungeons and Dragons will have the opportunity to drop into the summer long campaign and replay their same character day-to-day.
Board Games Campers may select age-appropriate games from our massive board game library. Afternoon groups explore different strategic approaches for game success and continue to focus on good sportsmanship.
Magic: The Gathering focuses on promoting good-spirited tournament-style play, teaching the rules of Magic: The Gathering, and determining point values and rankings when appropriate.
We offer bagged snacks (Popcorn/Veggie Straws/Lays/Cheetos) in the morning and a home-baked sweet treat (usually a chocolate chip cookie) in the afternoon. There is always water available and campers should bring a refillable water bottle. You may want to send an additional snack if you have a hungry child.
Absences: If your child will be absent from camp, please let us know at least 7 days in advance. For cancellations within 1 week, a $20 administrative fee per child will apply. For cancellations on the day of camp, a $50 administrative fee per child will apply. Exemptions will be made for unforeseen circumstances. Changes: We know that schedules change, and we are happy to try to make changes to your Full Week, Full Day, or Half Day registration with 7 days' advance notice, or if availability allows. Please email education@hexagonalley.com with change requests.
Any other rescheduling, credits, or refunds are issued at management's discretion. Any credits expire on December 31, 2026.
Our morning programming ends promptly at 12 pm, and our afternoon programming ends promptly at 4:00 pm. If you are running late to pick up your child, please call us asap. We offer a 10-minute grace period at our 12m noon and 4 pm dismissal times. For every 10 minutes late beyond that, a $15 late pick-up fee will be charged.
